Supporting Breastfeeding During COVID-19

Breastfeeding supports infant health, decreases risk of chronic disease in the mother, and creates family bonding. For all of these reasons and more, Right From The Start believes that breastmilk is the best source of nutrition for infants, and we are committed to supporting providers in helping families start and keep breastfeeding their babies--even during the pandemic, when rules for childcare facilities make this more challenging.

To assist providers in continuing to support breastfeeding families, we have created a series of informational videos with current COVID-19 health recommendations for the childcare environment. To ensure this critical information is accessible to our diverse community, we have translated these videos into Swahili, Tigrinya, and Amharic.
